Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield-Battle Styles Elite Trainer Box Review

The Sword & Shield-Battle Styles Elite Trainer Box is one of the best things to happen to all Pokémon fans and just literally all game fans in 2021. I got mine a few days ago and I’ve been reeling ever since. Now, you would probably be curious to know what all the excitement is about, that is what you are here to find out.

Packaged in a cardboard box and coming in primarily two colors; red and blue, the Elite Trainer Box is a joy to have. Now, you wonder what is inside the little treasure box, I’ll tell you. The ETB contains a ton of elite box exclusives.

The box nicely hints at its contents and there is no doubt that it is eye-catching. The box is made of cardboard and plastic and so with proper care and storage, you could keep it as long as its contents.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?

In one box, you get:

Ø  65 specialty card sleeves featuring Single Strike or Rapid Strike

Ø  8 booster packs containing 10 cards each to advance your collection, with 45 energy cards

Ø  2 acrylic condition markers

Ø  1 competition legal coin-flip die

Ø  6 specialty damage counter dice

Ø  1 acrylic GX marker

Ø  Player’s guide to the Sword & Shield Battle Styles expansion which is super explicit, easy for new Pokémon gamers

Ø  A Pokémon TCG rulebook

Ø  A code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online

One of my favorite things about the Sword & Shield-Battle Styles Elite Trainer Box is how it’s designed on the inside. The box features four dividers so everything is kept organized beautifully. Not only does this give me an excuse to spend extra time arranging, four dividers are also just perfect for organizing cards.

The surprise! Will you find an Empoleon V, Gigantamax Urshifu, Tyranitar V, or Mimikyu V? I got a Gigantamax Urshifu. I wonder what you would get in yours. See here to buy your Pokemon Tcg.

The best part is that you can get yours on Amazon for about $39.97. That’s an absolute cheap buy! You can get a Shining Fate Set B Pokémon Shining Fates Elite Trainer Box in black for $78.00 if you are a super fan like I am and want to have the three boxes.

Despite being made out of cardboard, it is pretty sturdy. Yeah, I am not destructive but I am a sucker for testing and trying things out. Well, the box passed, so it is quite a durable buy.

SO IS IT WORTH IT?

Without a doubt, the Sword & Shield-Battle Styles Elite Trainer Box is worth it. It is affordable, enjoyable to play, and beautifully designed. I also like how there’s always a mystery attached to each box as you could get an Empoleon V, Gigantamax Urshifu, Tyranitar V, or Mimikyu V.

The sturdiness of the packaging is definitely a plus as well. This box makes the perfect gift for yourself or a friend. You can be certain that this box guarantees hours upon hours of fun with Pokémon. If you haven’t made a purchase, I heavily suggest you do

I give it a 5/5 rating.
