The game software development company, Playtech, has launched its first live casino studios in December of 2021 in both Michigan and New Jersey.
The announcement comes after the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement and Michigan Gaming Control Board gave permission to the publicly listed firm on the London Stock Exchange.
Playtech Live’s double debuts represent the company’s first ventures into live iGaming in the United States. The firm, situated in the Isle of Man, is regarded as both Europe and Asia’s largest live studio gaming provider.
Playtech’s studio in Michigan provides live iGaming for Parx Interactive. The Gun Lake Band of Pottawatomi Indians uses Parx as a gaming partner, a collaboration that occurred last year as well. The New Jersey live studio was opened in partnership with Bet 365, a long-standing partner that also works with Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Location, Location, Location
Playtech’s new facility in Michigan is in Southfield, which is a suburb north of Detroit. Playtech has said it wants to create a live experience that is next level. Meanwhile, Atlantic City is home to the company’s New Jersey studio.
The Playtech Live Casino CEO, Edo Haitin, says the tech provider has finally been able to join areas in the US that are some of the fastest developing, and Playtech’s mission and desire to expand in these regions have been welcomed by the locals.
On debut, its studios in Michigan and New Jersey will feature traditional baccarat, roulette and blackjack live dealer tables. They’ll also have a Quantum Roulette arcade from Playtech.
This will be followed by more releases, including a sports-themed setting and a fresh gaming experience in the form of an arcade.
The opening of these two facilities exemplifies Playtech’s primary aim of delivering live studio standards that are ahead of the game in the United States, whilst ensuring that Playtech Live’s most compelling and creative products and technologies are available to different consumers and arenas.
Michigan’s Unlimited-Seat Blackjack
iGaming providers now have a place where they can offer live-dealer table games on their platforms thanks to the studio games. Instead of playing an online version of roulette or blackjack, players get to sit at a table and watch the croupier spin the wheel and place the ball in the roulette wheel or see dealers take cards from the shoe.
Playtech has also said that their popular Quantum Roulette Arcade will be available in both Michigan and New Jersey. The game was changed for the US market to provide bettors with an arcade experience that was both fresh and new. For example, in the roulette game, there is an automatic roulette table that has a double-zero and a multiplier of 1000x.
Michigan players have an All Bets Blackjack to participate in. That game will take advantage of the company’s flexible framework, which will allow an infinite number of people to participate in the same game.
According to Playtech Live, subsequent releases will focus on a sport-led atmosphere. Additionally, an arcade experience is planned, as well as the launch of Playtech’s live gaming shows.
As mentioned, there are plans to expand the iGaming content, according to Haitin. The company’s capacity to produce personalized gaming encounters that are specifically for American bettors will also entice customers.
Although sports betting has now been legalized in over two-thirds of the states in the United States, iGaming has not really exploded. Playtech hopes its plans to evolve and grow will soon change all that.
Other states that have permitted internet casinos include West Virginia, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Delaware, in addition to Michigan and New Jersey.
If you want to have an online experience that is similar to that of a land-based casino, you need to look for online sites that offer live dealer games, such as DraftKings live casino. Here, you can immerse yourself in a beautifully decorated studio and communicate with a real dealer across your screen. It is the best way to have a casino experience, without leaving the comfort of your home.
